Start by creating a shield shape and covering it construction paper as shown above.
To add some depth, add another layer of cardboard with the outline shown above.
Cover that layer with construction paper as well.
Next, add the ridges. to the shield. Cover in construction paper.
To maintain stiffness in the vulcan barrels, insert dowels into black pipe insulation.
Cover each pipe insulation with black construction paper.
Glue together all the barrels in the design above. Leave two of the outer pipes longer. These will extend and adhere inside the forearm.
Attach the longer pipes into the forearm as shown above.
Attach a piece of square cardboard to the middle of the barrels. This will close off the front of the forearm.
Add a layer of black construction paper on top of the forearm.
Make a large cylinder to fit around the nose of the barrels.
Using 1/4″ pipe fittings, spray them black and attach them on the nose of the barrels.
Above shows the placement of all the pieces.
Lastly, attach the shield onto the forearm.
